Remember our Bible Study we are doing “The Patriarchs”……I started the homework today. The scripture is on Hebrews 11:8.

“By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.”

I love that, just knowing that more times than not this is how God works with us. He wants us to obey Him. Abram didn’t know where he was headed, he just knew God told him to leave and go.

“When He tells us to leave one place as He told Abram, He has another place for us to go. God may not reveal the destination for a while, but we can rest assured we’re never called out without being called to. All God told Abram about his ultimate destination was that He would show it to him. The only way you’re going to find it is to walk with ME. When we get close, I’ll show it to you.”

I like that, the only problem with me is that so many times I fail to trust………oh there are days when I get it and then there are days when I fail miserably. Of course if I would get it all the time I wouldn’t need wrinkle creme. I would be just like a child trusting in their parent to take care of them.

“God calls us to leave our familiar spiritual countryside—-our ruts, comfort zones, and every hint fo mediocrity and go to a place He will show us”.

Thats what I want to do!
