Oldest One

The next teen event was a canoe trip about 4 hours from here. The oldest son had everything planned, he wanted to ride in the canoe with his favorite girl, (which wasn’t going to happen), all the pranks he would pull, and just all the fun he would had with his buddies from church. They were leaving Monday morning and staying until Wednesday night. Best of all, mom wasn’t going, so he would be given a little more freedom.

Poor guy, he got sick Sunday night, throwing up, fever, chills and they just keep multiplying!! He has been so sick the last 2 days, just miserable with all the symtoms of the flu. Hopefully it will be the short lived flu or just a bad stomach virus. Either way colonix is not needed, his system is being cleaned out.

I felt really bad for him not being able to go on the trip but trying to teach lessons in all of it. One, he had to consider the others and not spreading whatever he has. Two, that maybe God had a reason for him not to go. Three, circumstances happen and we must walk thru it. I’m sure there are more things but I just gave him the first two, he was asleep by the third one. My lectures, I need to shorten them.
