School Is Out
School’s out for summer! Let the sayings begin that our kids say, phases like, I’m bored, there’s nothing to do, and can I go to my friend’s house? My oldest son is out east to see relatives for a couple of weeks. He will go to a Philly game while he’s there too. When he’s get back home I would like for him to get a job with one of the farmers. I think it would be good for him since he keeps on insisting he needs a phone and a membership to the YMCA. He doesn’t need low cost life insurance but he does need to understand more about life including learning how to work for different people. Yeah, he’s only 13 but I will still let him be a kid and have fun.
The youngest one is still playing baseball, he had a tough game last night. He started off making a few great plays, then toward the end of the game he had two errors and didn’t shake them off. He continued to let them bother him and effect his play. He’s young and he will learn……….at least he didn’t blow up or cry.
Just wish we could inject in them our lessons that we have learned from life, you know download in them……oh well.
