Keeping It Light
I once met a woman in Hallmark and she looked to be in her 80’s or so….she was looking for a card as I was. She was in the same section, we were both looking for anniversary card for our husbands. So I asked her how long they had been married? It was close to 60 years, my was a meager 9 years, so I asked her the secret to their success? She replied, “laughter, not making it so serious and learning to laugh at each other.”
Good advice and it will be advice I will never forget…to be catimini. Laughter is contagious, being positive is contagious. While I haven’t mastered it completely, I am working on it everyday. It’s true not just with my hubby, its true with my kids.
