You Know I Can Dance
I help with the KidsZone at our church, 1st grade up to 5th grade. We have our own worship team and it is so much fun.
Anyway to get to the story, for the longest time, years in fact, there is this one song we did at our other church and everytime we did it, I so much wanted to jump up and down to the beat of the drum. It was just there, but of course I never did it during a service, but on this night, Sunday, October 28, 2007 was different. The kids were standing right in front of us and we are up on stage. The beat was there on the drum, my guitar was secured to me,and the kids were jumping right in front of me, so I did it, I jumped up and down, oh the freedom I felt, it was GREAT! My jumping got the kids jumping more, just a beautiful thing.
Sometimes to be like a child is such a good thing and so much less pressure.
