The Things We Do

Had a wonderful time with our neighbors today, Saturday the 24 of June, along with Allison and her family.  A day filled with softball, swimming in the pool, (the kids, not the adults), eating hot dogs, roasting marshmellows, and just plain acting silly.  By the way, the neighbors consist of Tom, the dad—Angie, the mom—Clint, son– and three daughters, Jasmine, Karly, and Melina.

Then  on Sunday, the norm for that day (just in case you are wondering), we leave for church around 8:10am to get there in time for sound check for the worship team, Sunday School at 9:30, then service at 10:30 which its usually over by noon.  Its a very family atmosphere, one like I haven’t seen in a while, layed back but still very controlled.  I very much feel like this is our home for a long while.  But God is in control of all of that.   Getting back to the day, noon we are out of church, since its takes a good 35 minutes to get home and evening church begins at 5;30 for Ben, we just hang out in Quincy, sometimes bringing our lunch or going out for it.  Its  a long day but a good one well spent.

Just a little update on what we do around here.
