They had 2 tournaments this week. They played 10 games in 5 days. I had a wonderful time watching them play and of course they were in their glory.

They were so sore and grouchy, well the oldest son was. He pulled his hamstring, so he was not in the best of moods, which caused us to have another small talk about life. I’m sure he hated that.

They will have a lot of games during the season….lots of fun!!

On most days I feel good about it, I think it’s fun but the last few days I’m unable to make decisions so now it’s not so fun. We are emptying box after box, hanging up pictures, getting rid of pictures that we have had for 15 years. I know it’s probably time to get rid of them.

We are using a lot of mounting brackets at standandmounts for the tv and the pictures. I’m not allow to put any up, that’s my hubby’s job.

I haven’t felt good for a few days so not being allowed to do something is ok with me.

Then me and the boys had to do whatever was requested by my hubby. He wanted us to work around the house for a few hours. That what he wanted for a gift and that’s what he got.

Now we are watching the NBA Finals together along with my oldest girlfriend and one of his buddies’.

It was a good day just being at home and not having to go back to church. Sometimes it’s nice to have a change.

Moving gets harder and harder each time. We had our teenage boys help us this time along with our big strong boys. They all did really well and we got everything moved.

My hubby was up 4 am that morning and I had to work. I was in the clear except for the cleaning up and unpacking boxes….ugh. My energy was drained. It felted so good to sleep in my pet beds that was perfect for me except my pillow was missing. I did finally find it and slept like a little baby, much needed sleep.

I’m finding out how valuable sleep is to an older body.

After a month of a shortage of hours this week it was really busy and I pick up a part time job on a sign company. It’s just a couple of hours a day and if I want, so it’s perfect for me right now, plus I like it!!

We had a couple of patients this week that were very humbling. Their circumstances really put my circumstance in its place. Sometimes sharing each others burdens do that very same thing, maybe that’s why we need to share the load with each other. It takes the focus off of ourselves and on other people. God is teaching me alot these days.

The other thing is not relying on your feelings, but doing the right thing despite those darned feelings that run through your veins, your mind. I wished we could put on tyvek suits for doing the right things. Oh that wouldn’t work then someone would invent a suit for doing the wrong thing.

My bff helped me figure out I had a good side for pictures after all these years. I’m so glad but after thousands of pictures and 3/4 of them are bad, it would have been nice to know years ago….LOL.

Our first “yard sale” in years, probably since the days when we were in Delaware. One of the things we were trying to sale was my Trace Elliot Amplifier. Wonderful piece of equipment and I almost sold it to an older gentleman who had 5 guitars. So we had a good conversation about our guitars.

He played a number of instruments, one being an alto sax and a banjo and his favorite artist is Willy Nelson. He was a very interesting fellow.

The end result was I didn’t sale the amplifier.

What’s funny is that the younger slender one wants to look more stout! We are never satisfied and boys are like girls with their feelings, they just don’t share it.

By the way, school is out, last Thursday. The boys are ecstatic. They have big plans for the summer…the plan is basketball.
Little do they know that I have my own plans for them too.

It was much easier when they were younger and they had no life.

I was thinking of selling them since the boys don’t play them here anymore. But I’m moving my music room around and since I don’t have all the equipment set up as I should. I’m in need for some george l cables from musicians friend so I can get plugged in again.

Then maybe the boys and all the other teenagers that come here will start playing the drums again.
